The Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Community Development Program (Case Study at Kampung Koran Kompas Gramedia)
This research essentially aims to see and understand Corporate Social Responsibility Implementation of Kompas Gramedia. The subjects of this research were the corporate staff and local community.
Theory that used in this research is Stakeholder and Social Contract theory that conducted by Kompas Gramedia. The concepts of theory are Communication, Social Responsibility, and Community Development.
This research used five key-informant. This research use qualitative approach and the nature of the research are in-depth interview and non-participant observation at Kompas Gramedia community workshop. The validity and reliability data method that used is triangulation of source. The conclusion of this research is the higher organizational effectiveness, the better CSR implementation done.
Based on the research, Kompas Gramedia succeed to implement five stages of CSR implementation which is collecting data; problem formulation; planning and programming; action and communication; evaluation. The implementation of Kampung Koran aim to support community in embracing financial, social, and environmental harmony within their life.
