This case study explore the strategy suggestion for Jurnal to improve their core competence. The objectives of this study are to evaluate current capabilities that Jurnal has, and offer suggestions to accelerate the business. This study is a qualitative research uses case study strategy and explorative study method by interviewing the cofounder of Jurnal. The findings of this research delivers that core competence in Jurnal are laid on several aspects involves the strengh of software, operation performance, organizational systems, and environment adaptation capability. It is also recommended to apply strategic movement in the future: Enhance cooperation with external parties that have related service through the establishment of new division named Channel Partner Management (CPM).
